Thankar Bachan’s assistant, Sneha. Rajkumar, won the best short film award for his Ayesha. Now, he is busy with two other films called Kanavu Meippada Vendum and Lover. In the latter film, Vaseegaran(hero of Kangalal Kaidhu sei) plays the hero. Thankar has also directed such memorable films like Azhagi and Solla marandha kadhai. These films touched upon the precarious nature of human relationships with sensitive realism. Rajkumar also plans to follow in the footsteps of his mentor.
