Recently the Chief minister of Tamil Nadu Selvi.J.Jayalalitha warned the PMK president Ramdoss and Thirumavazavan on urging the Tamil film makers to name their film titles only in Tamil.

Thirumavazavan responds to the Chief Minister’s warning in a calm and soft manner.

He was spotted in a theater screening the film Ullakadathal. He said that he appreciates Tamil films with Tamil names and encourage them by coming to these movies screening personally.

He said that they (Ramdoss and him) were wrongly misunderstood as the enemy of Tamil Cinema. All that they wanted was that the Tamil film’s should be named in Tamil, 'Is that much too much to ask' asks




 
Thirumavazavan.

He said that 90% of the film makers have accepted the fact of naming Tamil films in Tamil and only a few people like S J Surya and Kamal Hassan opposes the idea.

He said that the Tamil Language will not prosper until or other wise simple things such as these should be handled effectively.

Finally he concluded saying that they, the TP will still continue to oppose any film which will be named using English phrase.

Other people in the meet are ex Railway Minister A K Moorthy on behalf of Ramdoss and Pazha Nedumaran.
