Eventually, Ramakrishna was released on January 14th, and it has got a lukewarm opening. There is a big story behind the release of this film. Due to financial problems, the film was not able to hit the silver screens. Jai Akash, the hero of the film, Ramakrishna helped the producer financially to release the film.

Jai Akash has given 65 lakhs to the producer of Ramakrishna. When Jai Akash was asked, how he earned this huge amount without making it big in the Kollywood. He says: “I have earned this money not only through the salary that I got for Ramakrishna, but also through the advance that I have got for other films that I have signed up so far.”

The films that Jai Akash has in hand are Amuthae and Guru Deva.
