We know that Chandramukhi and Mumbai Express were slated for release on April, 14, Tamil New Year day. However, we have confirmed information now that Mumbai Express will be released ten days after Chandramukhi – that is in the last week of April. The industry is rife about the possible reasons for this change of release date. It is said that Superstar met Kamal personally and requested him to postpone the release of Mumbai. Fate of Rajinikanth’s films has been decided by the opening. It has been seen that if his films have a successful opening fortnight, they go on to do well. Keeping this in mind and also seeking a big hit to redeem his sagging reputation after Baba’s disaster, Rajinikanth wanted Mumbai to be released after Chandramukhi. Kamal, the perfect artiste that he is, has obliged and now we await the grand treat.
