Lohitadas is directing Kasturiman in Tamil. This film was earlier a super hit in Malayalam. Meera Jasmine who acted in the Malayalam version will appear in Tamil also. Meera won the National award for best actress for her performance in the Malayalam film, Padam Onnu, Vilapam Onnu. After Kasturiman, she has been signed on for Kamilini in Telugu. She has a weighty role in the film and is expected to notch up another award. Illayaraja has scored the music for Kasturiman and lyrics are by Pazhanibarathi. First schedule of shooting is over and the second schedule will commence shortly in Udumalpet. Lohitadas’ is working hard to ensure that his entry into Tamil turns out to be a super hit.
