P. Vasu directed Chandramukhi, which was Sivaji Films’ venture in its golden jubilee year. The other special thing about the movie is it is Vasu’s 50th film. As Chandramukhi is doing well, he is hoping that it will run for 50 weeks. Vasu is busy with the story discussion for his next project. He started his career as an assistant of ace director Sridhar and went solo with En Thangachi padichava. Since then, he has given a string of hits most notable ones being Chinna Thambi, Mannan, Badsha and Malabar Police. Vasu’s style of storytelling has pervasive dramatization with a more-than-usual touch of sentiment. Keep at it, sir, you are bound to go places!
