The supposed romance between director Selvaraghavan and Sonia Agarwal have kept the gossip mills busy. Both arrived together to attend younger brother Dhanush’s wedding with Rajini’s daughter Aishwarya. Troubled by the sliding fortunes of his brother, Selvaraghavan launched Oru naal oru kanavu with Dhanush, Sonia Agarwal and Namitha to be produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers. However, the producers wanted the name to be changed to appeal to the audience. Hence, it was changed to Puduppettai. Dhanush is piling his hopes on his elder brother’s magic to work again in Puduppettai. Meanwhile, Fazil was casting for his next film with Srikanth as the hero. On hearing that ONOK had been dropped by Selvaraghavan he chose the name for his gentle love story. On the look out for a suitable female lead, he was impressed with Sonia in Chaturangam. On being approached, it is reported that Sonia gave the nod without the customary discussion and permission from Selvaraghavan. A case of one loss too many?
