A function to release the songs of the film “Kanamma” was held in a grand manner. The chief guest of the function was Sathya Jothy Films’ Thyagarajan. The celebrities who were present in the function were Stalin, Sathyaraj, Meena, S.A.Rajkumar. Sathyaraj in his speech, played with Meena by praising her initially and then eventually told the audience that Meena asked him to tell those things. His speech as usual had lot of humor in it.

The other persons who spoke in the function were new faces Prem and Venkat, Meena, Vairamuthu, S.A.Rajkumar.

This film is produced by Karunanadhi and directed by Baba Vikram. Prem and Venkat are making their debut in this film. Meena is the heroine of this film. The music is scored by S.A.Rajkumar, and the lyrics are taken care by Vairamuthu. Jaguar Thangam is the stunt master
