The Telugu hit film Arya is going for a remake in Tamil by the name Yuvan. Dhanush was approached to do the lead role in the film. But due to the salary issues with the actor the offer was taken to Simbu. After positive discussions with the film crew, it was agreed that Simbu will star in Yuvan after his commitments in S J Surya’s A.C.
