It seems that Srikanth is returning back to the image of the lover boy as his recent action-oriented films like Joot and Bose have not made great waves. Now busy with Kana kanden where he is playing his familiar role, he said that he had been very successful as a lovelorn hero but he had wanted to prove his mettle in action roles as well. In fact in some risky scenes he had performed the stunts without a double. He felt that the films had done reasonably well and he had proved his point. Always seeking challenges he had done Varnajalam which was spoken about well. For now the projects in the pipeline apart from KK are one with Fazil and the other with Parthi Baskar(nephew of Ilayaraja’) titled Pambara kannale. The latter is a comedy. So Srikanth fans can rest assure that their idol is ready with different and wholesome roles in the coming year. Plans for marriage? The cherubic hero is ho-hum about it and says he wants to enjoy bachelorhood for some more time.
