Singam featuring Suriya and Anushka was a smash hit in the summer of 2010. Hari gave this film his typical racy touches and this cop movie was a raging hit among the masses thanks also to Sun Pictures' aggressive marketing and promotions.

Now a sequel to this movie is getting ready to be launched. Today being Ganesh Chathurthi, an auspicious day, the Singam 2 team is planning to start their shoots. Hansika is also a part of the cast while Vivek and Santhanam are there to provide some wholesome laughs.

Devi Sri Prasad has already started composing for this flick which is expected to be another success for the Hari - Suriya combo.
