Silambarasan will sport the 90’s look in Vada Chennai, say sources. Director Vetri Maaran is making this film which is said to be based on the gangsters in northern parts of Chennai. The story is set in the 80s and 90s and Silambarasan, the lead star will be sporting the 90’s look to fit in the character.

It is worth noting here that Telugu star Rana Daggubati moved out of this project recently and the director is looking for a suitable alternate. Andrea plays an important role in this film and the heroine is yet to be signed up.

The shooting of Vada Chennai is expected to go on floors sometime in March and in the mean time, director Vetri Maaran is conducting a workshop for the star cast.
