The silent success of Mouna Guru has forced theatre owners to increase the number of shows. This is not all; nearly 30 theatres have decided to screen the film after seeing its roaring success.

The film was initially shunned by distributors and theatre owners but now they have decided to rake some moolah seeing the appreciation the film is getting from all corners.

Mouna Guru is directed by newcomer Shanthakumar and has Arulnidhi and Iniya in the lead role. The movie is produced by M K Tamizharasu.
