Shankar is waiting for the audio launch of Nanban to get over so that he can sit at the editing table and get the film edited. The director is working hard to complete the film’s editing on time so that Nanban can make it to the screens for Pongal as planned.

This is the first time Shankar and Vijay are working together therefore the expectations are very high on this film. Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, Ileana, SJ Suryah and others have acted in this film which is a remake of the Hindi film 3 Idiots.
